The Sprint was the sporty 150 of Piaggio's new small-frame generation, with rotary-valve induction and a trailing-link front end. The Veloce followed in 1969 with a third transfer port and higher compression. The design was also licensed to Bajaj in India, where it lived on as the Chetak.
